Safe fencing
LundsAFK values a positive environment where everyone can enjoy sports safely and with joy. Feeling safe in sports applies to both physical and mental safety. We all have a responsibility for this, regardless of whether we are trainers, coaches, athletes or parents/guardians.
Basic Requirements
LundsAFK conducts fencing training in accordance with Safe Fencing – the guidelines from the Swedish Fencing Federation (SvFF) and the National Sports Federation (FR – Riksidrottsförbundet) to prevent anything from happening.

Our club ensures the following:
- – All members have read and understood LundsAFK Code of Conduct and the Plan for Safe Fencing.
- – Club leaders working with children and young people regularly submit their criminal record extracts from the police to the club board. These can be shown upon request.
How do you act if something happens?
- 1. If a problem arises within the club and you or someone else is affected, it is important to address the issue promptly. The first step is to talk to the LundsAFK board. They are there to help and ensure the safety and well-being of all members. You can approach them with any concerns or issues you may have in relation to the club’s activities.
- 2. Additionally, the club has established procedures to handle such situations, ensuring that all matters are dealt with fairly and confidentially. Remember, your safety and the safety of others is a top priority, and the board is committed to maintaining a positive and secure environment for everyone.
- 3. If the board does not address the issue satisfactorily, you can also turn to external organizations that handle irregularities in sports clubs, such as the Swedish Sports Confederation or the Swedish Fencing Federation. These organizations can provide additional support and ensure that the problem is resolved appropriately. Read more here: Vad du kan göra.
